One semester down, one more left. This semester was busy from a social aspect and an academic aspect. Working as an RA provided me with a lot of interesting situations. It’s fun to watch how freshmen interact and adjust to social situations. Some of the freshmen get out hand, go crazy, and do stupid stuff. In my dorm, a freshman just ran away. Who the hell runs away from college?
Another freshman threw nice community chairs off of the main balcony in my dorm. That really pissed me off because I worked to get those chairs on the balcony. It felt like they spit in my face. How can people be so selfish?
But all of this has not made me too bitter. I still find myself looking for things to improve the quality of campus life.
Christmas today, senior paper writing tomorrow. I’ll be fitting in MCAT stuff between paper writing and hockey reffing. Not a bad way to spend winter break. Could be worse, I could be writing a Hegel paper.
